Mmoninyana M. Mgumba | The Human Capital , The Heartbeat of every Organisation
Mmoninyana M. Mgumba is the Founder and Managing Director of Chrismo World Pty Ltd. A group of companies birthed in July 2017, which has vast offerings in areas of Human Resources Management and Coaching, Retail and Beauty Therapy (Chrismo Apparel), Hospitality, Travel and many others.
Her professional life spans over a period of twenty years (20) in a number of different disciplines including Business Development, Insurance Administration , Customer Services/Liaison and People Strategy where she functioned in a Commercial Bank at an Executive Level responsible for Leadership and Transformation in accelerating Resourcing and Workforce Planning, Employee Relations, Organizational Development, Remuneration and Reward, Learning and Development, Change Management, Talent Management, Performance Management, Risk Management, Succession and Retention of key Human Capital in partnership with the Business. She was a key player in driving a Culture of Employee Engagement and Wellness at her last role in a Corporate Environment.
Mmoni holds a number of qualifications under her belt, including a Degree in Business Administration through the Management College of Southern Africa and a Diploma in Accounting and Business Studies through the University of Botswana. She has attended Leadership programs through the Business Management School of the University of Cape Town and the John Mattone’s University (USA). On top of being a Certified Life Coach and a Member of the Human Capital Institute – UK Chapter, she has also attended a number of short programs on Human Resource Management and Labour Relations through University of Pretoria and University of Cape Town. People and Accounting Analytics through the Wharton’s Business School- University of Pennsylvania (USA)
On a personal front, Mmoni is a Christian and a woman of faith who believes nothing is impossible. A mother of two wonderful Children.
Tebogo Petlele | Challenges of start-ups entrepreneurs in Africa
Tebogo Petlele is a 31 years old dynamic female from Rustenburg, South African. She is a former Occupational Therapy Technician with 7 years work experience in a neurological rehabilitation, it is from that experience she recognised her interest and passion to work with people. She is self-driven, dedicated, passionate about leadership and strongly believes in social cohesion.
She is the Founder and Managing Director of Seponono Africa, a company that was motivated by her journey of finding purpose whilst wearing a head-wrap daily for a year. The company initially sold African print headwraps and she was able to secure business with Standard bank, Tsogo Sun, World Economic Forum, Africa Television Market and RCL. The company has now expanded it’s services into 1 stop shop with various value adds as a solution driven company.
Tebogo is a Leader Academy Alumni, former Global Shaper and a Crans Montana Forum- New Leaders For Tomorrow. She is ambitious and never escapes challenges that are geared towards the inclusive development of communities and this was demonstrated through her being recognized when she received an award as Africa’s New Leader For Tomorrow, 2018 representing South Africa.
She is resilient, adventurous, loves travelling and learning new skills. She previously embarked on a journey across Africa in a bus with fellow young African leaders. This journey saw her in Botswana, Tanzania, Kenya and Ethiopia. Her last lag saw her share her journey during Shape Africa Conference held by WEF Global Shapers at the Africa Union Commission. Her aspiration is to be part of Africa’s authentic solutions through inspiring, empowering and connecting women and youth by creating exposure, awareness and sharing opportunities. Africa’s future lies in our hands.
BOAGO VICTOR RATSHOSWANE | SMMEs Tax Compliance in Botswana
Mr Boago Victor Ratshoswane, is a Tax Specialist, Entrepreneur and Human Rights Activist. He is the Founder and Executive Director of GreatAnt, a tax consultancy firm which brought you the famous Individual Tax Assessment Service called Tax360. This service was designed to help all individuals eligible for taxes payment to easily comply with the tax laws. GreatAnt provided an efficient and effective service, eliminating a time consuming task for individuals and cooperates to a non-existing one. At a very affordable fee, Tax360 helps eligible taxpayers, by filling and submitting their forms whilst in the comfort of their homes and workplaces. This service has also been extended to businesses and companies.

With more than 10 years’ experience under his belt in accounting, finance and taxation, Ratshoswane also invest a lot in professional qualifications having graduated with Certified Accounting Technician from Ba Isago University, and Advanced Taxation (Post Graduate Diploma In Taxation) at Botswana Accountancy College as well as Entrepreneurship Development Program in the Diamond Sector with University of Stellenbosch Business School sponsored by Okavango Diamond Company. He is currently pursuing 2 programs being ACCA (Association of Charted and Certified Accountants) and Certified Fraud Examiner.
Beyond his professional and business endeavors, Ratshoswane is a Human Rights Activist! He is the Founder and Executive Director of Botswana Stuttering Association (BoSA) which is mandated to empower, support and advocate for people who stutter in Botswana. This association is one very close to his heart, as he himself has a stutter and hopes his public service and charitable work will inspire others affected similarly.
He is a Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership Center Southern Africa Alumni.
Kgosi Kgosi |Small Business and Technology
Kgosi is a co founder of MJBO, one the first established certified cloud accounting firm that cross pollinate leading technologies to deliver exceptional bespoke services for both corporate and small medium enterprises. A management accountant by profession, Kgosi has been involved in breakthrough tech projects such as the paid parking project at the Sir Seretse Khama International Airport in 2016,as well as appraising company business plans under Investment Promotion department for Botswana Investment and Trade Centre. His involvement at MJBO has seen the company receive a plethora of accolades such as scoping the position 3 award at the 2018 youth expo awards as their first initiative to the market, this proving beyond reasonable doubt his capabilities and unforeseen potential he is yet to showcase both in his personal capacity and MJBO in the finance industry.
Arnold Nagafela | Institutional/ systematic branding in the Pan African Era
Arnold Nagafela, a young man with a heart of gold and an eye for entrepreneurship that works. He is a Brand Architect, Social Investment strategist, youth empowerment enthusiast and a budding entrepreneur who has built both big and small brands from just brands to influencers and masters in their respective industries. Arnold is the founder of BrainWurxx, a creative agency that was started in 2014 which offers brand strategy, design and communication. He has consulted and led development for brands such as Shell Petroleum, Yarona FM, Botswana Accountancy College, Virgin Brew, MVA Fund, Brastorne, Mpotsa, mAgri, Botswana Investment and Trade Centre, Cappello and Botswana Savings Bank just to name a few. Through his work he has become one of the country’s most influential young entrepreneurs with the ability to reposition any brand to reach and appeal more to markets. He has expanded himself further in the creative space by also starting a multifaceted company Martox which is quickly growing to become a force in each respective industry in participates in. She is a business mentor & coach, a Consultant, Global inspirational speaker, A story teller, Ambassador of UNWomenAfrica in Kenya focusing on gender equality in the mining & manufacturing industry.She was recently honoured by the United Nations as one of the 100, under 40 Most Influential People of African Descendants in New York, recognized by Forbes Africa as young Power Women in 2012.
